Through innovative clean cooking and heating solutions, we are transforming agricultural waste into non-carbonized briquettes that replace firewood and charcoal across Uganda.

Our work directly addresses deforestation and carbon emissions by providing institutions, industries, and communities with an affordable, efficient, and sustainable alternative to traditional biomass fuels. Every briquette produced represents a reduction in pressure on forests and a step toward a cleaner energy future.

Our Impact

Over the past four years, the adoption of Bio-Innovations’ briquettes has resulted in the conservation of 1,018,800 trees. This impact has grown consistently year by year as more users transition to cleaner energy solutions:

• Year One: 88,800 trees saved

• Year Two: 264,000 trees saved

• Year Three: 310,800 trees saved

• Year Four: 355,200 trees saved
